Meaningful Massage Therapy for You

Whether working through an old or new injury or having challenged your body with new activities, the licensed massage therapists at PURE LIFE CLINIC can tailor a massage therapy plan to meet your unique pain condition or injury.

Our full body therapeutic massages do more than just relax the nervous system and stretch tight muscle tissue. They also correct the irregularities in your body and clean out lingering inflammatory chemicals that frequently irritate tissue and become one of the root causes of chronic pain.

We invite you to work with one of our licensed massage therapists and discover for yourself what the PURE LIFE experience is all about.

What is massage therapy?

Massage therapy involves the manipulation of the body’s soft tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons, and ligaments) for relaxation or therapeutic purposes. It can prevent and alleviate pain, muscle spasms, and stress, improve physical function, ease tension, and promote overall health and wellness.

Our licensed therapists pull from the many different methods of massage therapy in developing an individualized treatment plan, including:

Prenatal

Using specially designed pillows to position a woman comfortably, a pregnancy massage can help reduce stress, decrease swelling in the arms and legs, and relieve muscle and joint pain.

Trigger Point

This technique identifies and heals areas within the myofascial tissue that contribute to muscle pain, spasms, and posture issues, focusing on releasing trigger points (small knots that develop in muscles).

Sports

Our therapist works with the athlete to determine the right approach to enhance their training, healing muscle strains, promoting tissue repair, and preventing injuries.

Neuromuscular

A deep massage therapy that utilizes specific, targeted digital pressure and friction to release areas of strain in individualized muscles.

Spinal Massage

Swedish

The most common type of massage, it involves long, soft strokes and light rhythmic kneading on the topmost layers of muscles, combined with movement of the joints.

Deep Tissue

This technique involves slow, deep strokes and friction in order to access multiple layers of muscle and fascia, releasing chronic muscle tension and healing certain muscle injuries.

Gua Sha

Also known as coining, this traditional Chinese technique sees therapists use a massage tool to scrape warm, oiled skin, improving circulation and relieving pain.

Cupping

An ancient form of massage therapy that involves the therapist placing special heated cups on the skin to create suction in a type of deep-tissue massage treatment, helping with pain, inflammation, and blood flow.

Myofascial

A specialized technique in which gentle sustained pressure is applied to the fascia, the thin tissue covering the muscle fibers, to restore range of motion and eliminate pain caused by soft-tissue ailments such as TMJ, carpal tunnel syndrome, and chronic headaches and back pain.

Shiatsu

Meaning “finger pressure” in Japanese, this technique sees the therapist use their thumbs, hands, elbows, knees, and even feet to apply varied, rhythmic pressure on precise points of the body to heal common ailments and conditions, as well as correct imbalances in the body.

Shoulder Massage

I always receive a great massage when I make an appointment. Always on time, great communication, friendly therapists and staff, 5 stars.
